How does CaribPay Keep my account safe?
CaribPay uses cutting-edge encryption and fraud detection technology to make sure your data and money are secure.
Any information you submit is encrypted and sent to our servers securely, regardless of whether you’re using a public or private Wi-Fi connection or data service (3G, 4G, or EDGE).
Cash App uses the same fraud detection infrastructure and safety standards that monitor millions of daily credit and debit card in-store transactions.
Cash is also PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Level 1 compliant.
What can I do to keep my account safe?
There are simple and easy ways to make sure your account and money isn’t put at risk.
Beware of scams and phishing attempts
In general, if something sounds too good to be true (like free money in exchange for a small payment), it’s a scam.
Only reply to emails from people and organizations that you know and trust. CaribPay emails will come from @getcaribpay.com.
Emails from the CaribPay Team will only contain links to websites at getcaribpay.com, caribpayintl.com. If an email contains links to other websites, it was NOT sent by CaribPay.
CaribPay App Support will never ask you to provide your sign-in code, PIN, Social Security Number (SSN), and will never require you to send a payment, make a purchase, download any application for “remote access,” or complete a “test” transaction of any kind.
CaribPay Sign In
Every time you sign in to your CaribPay account, you can set up a PIN to sign-in for an extra level of security.
If you received an unsolicited sign-in code via email, we recommend securing the email account associated with your CaribPay account by updating your password and enabling two-factor authentication.
If you sign in to your CaribPay app on a device other than your personal device, make sure to sign out.
Secure your CaribPay Card
You have the right to request access to your data, rectification, and data portability. Please contact us if you want to exercise these rights.
You may have the right to revoke consent to the use of your information for target marketing. Revocation of your consent may affect our ability to provide services to you. If you want to exercise any of your rights, contact us. If you wish to complete a request for access to all personal data CaribPay holds about you, remember that you may be required to prove your identity.
If you have an Account, you will generally be able to review and edit Personal Data in the Account by accessing the account and updating the information directly. You can also contact us if you do not have an Account or if you have questions about Account information or other Personal Data.
Secure your mobile device
Create a passcode for your mobile device. To do so, check your device’s general settings. You may need to check your device manual for more information.
Secure your identity
We may prompt you to verify your identity with pictures of your identity documents within the app. Certain features within CaribPay require your identity to be verified.
To keep your identity safe, never share sensitive identity numbers such as your Social Security Number with anyone outside of CaribPay. As a reminder, CaribPay App Support will never ask for a card number or identity number to receive help.
